Course Recomendations

For someone who has never ridden before we recommend a five day course whether it is for 125cc or DAS training. After that it depends on your experience and how long ago you rode and whether it was on or off road riding as to how many days you may require!! This is when an assessment is useful for them and the instructor. However some people have already decided how many days you want because you have had an assessment with someone else or it is based on how much you can afford. For people with riding experience please ask for our Free Assessment.

FREE ASSESSMENT

  • A free assessment can be undertaken on site prior to either 125cc training or DAS (500cc) training if you have ridden a geared bike before. The instructor will ask you to ride up and down the car park watching your gear changes, positioning, balance etc. We will be able to advise you how many days may be required to bring you up to and beyond test standard. It is obviously up to you whether you take our advice or not!
  • If you have never ridden a motorcycle at all we cannot do an assessment, but you can arrange for you to come up to the site and talk to the instructor about the course and your requirements if you would like to do so.
  • Assessments are normally arranged for approx between 3.45 - 4pm any day of the week. you take approx half an hour.

The Course Explained

  • 125cc training is for anyone over the age of 17 years.
  • Before you go to test you must have passed your Motorcycle Theory Test (Provisional Licence only) a Car Theory Test will not be accepted by the DSA. If you are on a full car licence a theory licence is still required.
